We’re excited to announce that we’ll be launching a Teen Strength and Movement program this summer at The House PDX!
Our plan is to run this during the 9:30 AM hour on Tuesdays and Thursday, with the teens training on one side of the space while our normal adult class runs on the other.
This program is for kids who are ready to show up, learn, and take their training seriously. That doesn’t mean they need experience or have to be high-level athletes, it just means they’re motivated to get better and want to grow.
The programming will be done with the same process and same principles we use in our adult House programming:
Structure: Each session is intentional, with a clear purpose
Progression: Smart, steady growth over time—not random workouts
Movement quality first: Learning how to move well before we load it up
Consistency over intensity: What matters most is showing up and putting in the reps
Fun and focused: We keep it positive, but we keep it moving
Here’s what you need to know:
$20 per class
Summer schedule starts Tuesday, June 24th at 9:30am and the last session on Thursday, August 21st
Held at 9:30am on Tuesday and Thursdays alongside the adult class
All teen classes will be taught by Coach Milly
There will be NO CLASS on Thursday, July 24 or Thursday, August 7
Kids will need their own Mindbody account created under their name
Pre-registration required (no walk-ins)
Class will be capped at 10 kids per session
We’re testing this format for the summer and hoping to gain enough traction to keep it rolling, or even grow it down the line.
